Game notes: Welcome to the battle between the NBA’s two worst teams, the Rockets and Pistons. Houston has lost nine of 10; Detroit lost four in a row before upsetting Brooklyn, 130-122, on Thursday, thanks largely to a new-look starting lineup and rotation. The Pistons have two more wins than the Rockets, but both currently would have 14% odds to land the No. 1 pick in May’s highly anticipated draft lottery, with the prize of Victor Wembanyama. Second-year guard Jalen Green leads the Rockets in scoring at 21.7 points per game on 41.1% field-goal shooting, but he, along with second- and third-leading scorers Kevin Porter Jr. and Alperen Sengun, are all out. … The Pistons next play at Dallas on Monday.
