What to Know
The SMU Mustangs haven’t won a matchup against the Wichita State Shockers since Jan. 17 of 2018, but they’ll be looking to end the drought on Sunday. SMU and Wichita State will face off in an American Athletic battle at 4 p.m. ET at Charles Koch Arena. Meanwhile, the Shockers were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 72-67 to the UCF Knights. Despite the loss, Wichita State got a solid performance out of guard Craig Porter Jr., who had 19 points and seven assists in addition to six rebounds.
