College basketball transfer portal rankings 2024: Jaxson Robinson skyrockets after Kentucky commitment

College basketball’s transfer cycle never really ends, but June marks the month when it slows to a trickle. The NBA Draft withdrawal deadline has passed, and most 2024-25 rosters around the country are nearing completion. While a handful of coveted players are still waiting to announce their destinations, the overwhelming majority of impact transfers have made their commitments.

Now that the picture for next season is coming into clearer focus, the CBS Sports Transfer Rankings have undergone a renovation, with nearly everyone moving up or down based on how their circumstances have changed in recent weeks. For example, Jaxson Robinson is surging into the updated rankings at No. 31 after committing to Kentucky.

The former BYU guard should play a prominent offensive role for the Wildcats as he follows former coach Mark Pope to the Bluegrass State. Among those falling out of the updated rankings is UCLA guard Skyy Clark. The Louisville transfer is talented and should play a role for the Bruins. As the dust settles on the portal cycle, however, it’s clear coach Mick Cronin has put together a strong roster and that Clark may not wind up as one of the Bruins’ top scorers.

As the final significant commitments roll in, we’ll continue update the rankings. For now, here’s a rundown of the top 80 transfers of college basketball’s 2024 offseason.
