Bill Self is one of the most accomplished coaches in college basketball, having led three programs to the Elite Eight or better and leading the Kansas Jayhawks to four Final Fours and two national championships over 22 seasons. However, the 2024-25 season was arguably Self’s worst in Lawrence. The Jayhawks lost 13 games, their most since 1982-83, and failed to win an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since 2006, when Self was in his third season at the helm.
